March 31, 2026
On 31st March 2026, A GYNZ trustee was invited to participate in a youth public welfare safety training event on fall prevention and stampede avoidance, organized by the Beijing Fengtai District Wrestling and Judo Association in China.
During the event, professional coaches provided specialized instruction on sports injury prevention and emergency self-rescue techniques. The GYNZ trustee took part in hands-on training, systematically learning youth physical protection skills, fall impact mitigation, emergency avoidance, and other safety techniques — gaining an in-depth understanding of China's youth sports safety education model. As a New Zealand-based public welfare organization, GYNZ used this cross-border exchange to build a bridge for China-New Zealand youth sports public welfare collaboration, drawing on China's experience in youth safety protection initiatives. This effort promoted friendly cooperation and mutual learning between the two countries in the fields of youth safety education and sports-related public welfare.
