Visit To Pengrui Sports School In Beijing

On 13th April 2026, GYNZ trustees and volunteers from New Zealand visited Pengrui Sports School in the Tongzhou sub‑center of Beijing, China, to engage in an in‑depth cross‑border public welfare exchange focused on sports.

The visit centered on two main areas: the promotion of public mass sports participation, and specialized youth athletic training. Both sides held in‑depth discussions on youth sports training systems, talent development models, and mass sports promotion strategies in China and New Zealand — sharing advanced approaches and broadening the horizons of international public welfare cooperation in sports. During the exchange, the GYNZ team toured the school's newly completed air‑supported sports center, visiting standard badminton courts, tennis courts, and other professional training facilities. They gained insight into the operation and management of modern sports venues, youth specialized training processes, and models for promoting public fitness participation — accumulating valuable resources for future bilateral public welfare collaboration and exchange programs in sports between New Zealand and China. This cross‑border visit further strengthened the foundation of GYNZ's international engagement in youth sports public welfare, and continued to build a bridge for sports exchange, knowledge sharing, and friendly cooperation between New Zealand and China.
